June Herb Walk
Join Registered Herbalist Rebecca Graves on a herb walk in the Ferguson Forest Arboretum. We’ll take a gentle stroll around the Arboretum as we explore the healing properties of wild plants and trees that grow around us.
Class 1: Teas, Plants & Foundations of Herbal Medicine
An introductory herbal medicine class focused on teas, plant identification, and herbal energetics. Learn how to use common medicinal plants to support digestion and respiratory health through simple infusions. This hands-on workshop includes tea blending and practical skills for working with local herbs safely and confidently.
Class 2: Oils, Salves & External Herbal Care
Learn how to make herbal infused oils and salves for skin, muscles, and everyday care. This hands-on class explores topical herbal medicine using seasonal plants and simple preparation methods. Participants will create a finished remedy to take home while building practical skills in herbal oil infusion.

Class 3: Tinctures & Internal Support
Explore tinctures and glycerites in this hands-on herbal medicine class focused on internal support for the nervous and immune systems. Learn extraction methods, when to use concentrated herbal preparations, and how to work with stronger medicinal plants. Includes practical tincture making and remedies to take home.
Class 4: Roots, Decoctions & Deep Support
A seasonal herbal medicine class focused on roots, decoctions, and herbal vinegars. Learn how to work with plants that support circulation, elimination, and long-term wellness. This hands-on workshop explores deeper herbal preparation methods using seasonal roots, with practical skills and remedies to take home.

Introduction to Herbal Medicine
This course introduces the theory of herbal medicine, while exploring the healing properties of regional wild plants, as well as practical medicine making. Students will make several types of herbal herbal remedies for their own use.
Winter Wellness Tea Workshop
This workshop is all about exploring the medicinal properties of herbs, tasting different herbal infusions, and creating your own herbal tea blends. It's the perfect way to enjoy the flavours of winter while learning something new.

Introduction to Herbal Medicine
For those who would like to delve a little deeper, we’re offering a ‘hands-on’ introductory course in herbal medicine with Registered Herbalist Rebecca Graves. Over 4 classes, students will be introduced to the theory of herbal medicine, explore the healing properties of regional wild plants, and make several types of herbal remedies for their own use.

Intermediate/Advanced Herb Workshops
A series of 5 workshops to introduce clinical skills to students of herbal medicine. Students will work collaboratively to learn and practise skills.
