Holistic Nutrition

Holistic nutrition is about improving your relationship with food and finding long term wellness solutions that fit your lifestyle.

Holistic nutrition is not just about what you eat…
It’s about how you nourish yourself.

It’s about your relationship with food, your body, and the rhythms of your daily life.

At its core, holistic nutrition recognizes that food is more than fuel… it is a response, a connection, and a form of support for the whole person. The way we eat, think, and feel around food all influence how the body digests, absorbs, and utilizes nutrients.

When we begin to slow down and listen, the body often tells us exactly what it needs.

As a holistic health and nutrition counsellor, my role is to support you in reconnecting with that inner wisdom, while also offering guidance, structure, and practical tools to help you move forward in a way that feels supportive.

Together, we focus on realistic nourishment that honours where you are—building lasting change through small, meaningful shifts grounded in awareness, curiosity and self-compassion.

This is not about rigid rules or perfection.
It’s about creating a way of eating and living that feels sustainable and aligned with you.

Holistic nutrition can support a wide range of health concerns, including:

  • Fatigue and low energy

  • Digestive concerns (bloating, reflux, irregular digestion)

  • Stress and nervous system support (anxiety, overwhelm, burnout)

  • Life transitions and mental health (grief, change, emotional wellness)

  • Inflammation and chronic pain

  • Immune system support

  • Healthy aging and long-term wellness

  • Substance-related health challenges and recovery support

  • Hormonal balance (PMS, perimenopause, menopause)

  • Skin concerns (acne, eczema, psoriasis)

  • Blood sugar balance and cravings (insulin resistance, prediabetes & diabetes)

  • Promoting overall wellness and health

  • And more!

Let food be thy medicine.

How do I know if holistic nutrition can help me?

Nutrition is foundational to overall health and well-being.

Whether you’re navigating a specific concern or simply wanting to feel more balanced, energized, and in tune with your body, this work meets you where you are.

If you’ve been exposed to conflicting nutrition information—especially through social media—and feel unsure about what to trust, you’re not alone.

You may also feel disconnected from your body, uncertain about your needs, or frustrated by approaches that haven’t felt sustainable.

This is a space where your experience is heard, your relationship with food is respected, and your starting point is honoured.

You don’t have to figure it out on your own - we can help!

What can I expect from my first appointment?

Your first session (90 minutes) is a comprehensive and supportive intake.

This is where you have space to share your story.

We’ll explore:

  • Your current concerns and health history

  • Your lifestyle, stress, and daily rhythms

  • Your eating patterns and your relationship with food

  • Supplements, medications, and current supports

Your story with food is an important part of this process. We may gently explore how your relationship with food has evolved, including meaningful experiences, patterns, or memories that have shaped how you nourish yourself today.

These insights help us understand not only your nutritional needs, but the lived experiences behind them—so we can support you in a way that feels both practical and deeply personal.

Following your session, you’ll receive:

  • A summary of your intake

  • Initial recommendations and gentle starting points

  • A personalized plan that may include nutrition guidance, lifestyle support, and (if appropriate) supplement recommendations

This plan is designed to feel supportive and achievable—not overwhelming.

What can I expect from follow up sessions?

Your second session (60 minutes) typically takes place 2–4 weeks after your intaker.

During this session, we:

  • Review your plan and any early experiences

  • Answer questions

  • Make thoughtful adjustments

  • Continue building confidence in your approach

Additional follow-up sessions continue at a pace that supports you, allowing time for integration and meaningful progress.

Optional shorter sessions (30 minutes) are also available for additional support when needed.

Support Between Sessions

You may receive follow-up emails that include:

  • Gentle guidance

  • Educational insights

  • Reflection or journaling prompts

These are designed to help you stay connected to your process and continue building sustainable habits over time.
